Motor Homes

There are 3 classes of motor homes that can be written under this program:

  1. Class A
  2. Class B
  3. Class C

Class A

This is the largest type of motor home available – can be as long as 45 feet. Luxurious and expensive, but usually not affordable for the average individual. Can sleep 8 or more people, typically the master bedroom has a king size bed, impractical due to their width – they are difficult to drive on narrow roads.

Class B

This is the smallest type of motor home available, also known as a camper van can sleep 2 people (4 people would be a tight squeeze) used for short term  accommodation, easy manoeuvrability due to their size.

Class C

Usually up to 28 feet in length, shorter than a Class A, offers most amenities of a Class A but at an affordable price, can sleep approximately 6 people, Class C is the most popular type of motor home sold in North America.

Park Model Trailer

Seasonally occupied trailers, used as a cottage, manufactured as a park model and permanently parked. Full skirted and often have decks and/or sun room added to the main structure. Insured must live elsewhere in Ontario to qualify (cannot reside in another province or country). No more than 40 feet in length.

Standard Package

Named Perils Coverage, ACV, 15 years old and over Personal Property automatically covered for 40%.

Outbuilding Coverage automatically covered for Golf Cart Property Coverage of $5,000 Emergency Vacation Expense $1000 and $1,000,000 Liability included

Mobile Homes

A building which has been fully constructed inside a factory and assembled on site.

Once the mobile home is occupied, it is not moved, can include modular and do-it-yourself homes.

There are 4 packages available:

1) Owner Occupied Package

2) Renters/Tenants Package

3) Summer/Seasonal Package

4) Rented to Others Package
